Meet Your Coach
Janet Solie, PA, MS is a health coach and physician assistant who specializes in coaching women in self-care, mindful eating, cancer survival, caregiving, and challenging life transitions. She has trained at Duke University and is a breast cancer survivor and a full-time caregiver for her husband, who has Parkinson’s disease.
Janet believes that wellness retreats like Women of the Rancho, which she has created and facilitated, can provide an opportunity for women to reset, refresh, and recharge from the demands and stressors of daily life. Her retreats focus on forging friendships with like-minded women and immersing oneself in nature while having fun.
This year, Janet has relocated her horse-based wellness retreat to the luxury Alisal Ranch outside of Solvang, California, which is just a 30-minute drive from Santa Barbara. Women of the Rancho is for women who love to trail ride and focuses on wellness in a beautiful ranch setting in Santa Ynez valley. Although she is not a horse trainer, Janet believes that horses and horse activities offer a path for growing and healing.
Janet is based in Calabasas, California and can be contacted at janetsolie@me.com.trained at Duke University. She specializes in coaching women in self-care, mindful eating, cancer survival, caregiving, and challenging life transitions, including recovery from illness and loss.
