Join us for our two week-long celebration of togetherness, where we embrace the spirit of hosting and gathering. “The Art of Gathering” is meticulously designed to inspire and equip you with the skills and creativity to bring your loved ones together for unforgettable moments.

Gather your friends, family, or come solo and meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for hosting and creating memorable gatherings. Alisal Ranch’s “The Art of Gathering” is more than just a series of classes; it’s an opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate the joy of bringing people together. For these two themed weeks we will offer classes like wreath making, charcuterie board design, a cookie baking class with Elizabeth Poett, and more! Be sure to join us on Saturday, November 16th when our grassy oval transforms into a holiday market featuring local artisans.

Nestled in the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley, Alisal Ranch offers a serene and inspiring setting for The Art of Gatherings Week. With luxurious accommodations, world-class amenities, and breathtaking natural beauty, Alisal Ranch is the perfect backdrop for learning, creating, and celebrating. Book early and enjoy 30% off.

Trisha Cole
Wednesday, November 13th

Trisha Cole loves to bring people together. For the last 20 years or so, she has worked with hospitality clients (think food, hotels, travel destinations) to help them garner media coverage, develop partnerships, and create unique guest experiences. Before that, she was in the editorial department at Bon Appétit magazine. Trisha has recently written a book that’s a bit of a memoir, and more than anything a guidebook to good living entitled Life at the Dumpling. Trisha lives with her husband and two daughters in a dumpling of a house on a hill in East Los Angeles.

Elizabeth Poett
Friday, November 15th

Elizabeth Poett is a 7th generation cattle rancher and was raised on Rancho San Julian, her family’s 14,000-acre ranch on Santa Barbara’s Central Coast. Elizabeth has always had a passion for food and she has brought that passion to her Ranch Table, where she hosts cooking classes, traditional ranch meals, and unique experiences on historic Rancho San Julian.  The Ranch Table offers a way for guests to learn about the foods they eat, and how to cook in a seasonal, imaginative, and simple way. Elizabeth also has a cooking show- Ranch To Table on Magnolia Network where viewers can see more of the day to day life and food on the ranch. In the Fall of 2023, Elizabeth is looking forward to releasing her first cookbook, The Ranch Table Cookbook.

Erika Lenaye

Ashley W Hollister
Wednesday, November 13th

Grounded in my love for wild rugged California coastal botanicals having spent my childhood in Malibu and a shared commitment with my husband to his family’s over century history agriculture in CA, I embraced the challenge of creating a winery focused on products that highlight the native botanicals of the Gaviota Coast- and so was born T.W. Hollister & Co. aperitifs. Guided by our philosophy of using natural and native ingredients, we craft products that echo our values of environmental stewardship.

Our products are distinctly American-made, leveraging superior ingredients grown on our legacy lands to offer not just a drink, but an experience steeped in authenticity and quality.

At our heart- through T.W. Hollister & Co., we are not just preserving a legacy but building a future where each bottle curates a beautiful story worth sharing — a celebration of the past and a toast to the bright future.
